Cara Quinn

My path to real estate began in Rome, Italy, where I lived and worked for nearly a decade—most of the 1990s. Residing in one of the world’s most beautiful and ancient cities left me with a deep appreciation of design, style and craftsmanship.

America called, and my husband and I moved to Minneapolis where we raised our family and I led a rewarding career in education leadership. We always had one home improvement project or another underway, and after remodeling our own home from top to bottom we couldn’t resist starting the process all over with an investment property. I love the hunt for the perfect home, and the excitement of a sale! The transition to a career in real estate was a natural one.

I sell houses across the Twin Cities metro area, but I especially love selling in South Minneapolis around the lakes and parkways, and in Saint Paul’s Mac-Groveland, Highland Park and Summit Hill neighborhoods. I particularly love selling older homes in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

I live with my family in the Tangletown neighborhood of Minneapolis. We speak Italian at home, and I make a mean tiramisù. I enjoy running and biking around the lakes and on the parkways, walking across the Stone Arch Bridge at sunset, and checking out the local food scene. When the weather is warm, I can sometimes be spotted in my little Fiat 500 convertible with our Great Dane in the backseat, his head sticking out over the top.

When it comes to style, on the one hand I love turn of the century homes that have maintained their architectural integrity, and on the other hand I’m drawn to modernist apartments with open spaces, clean lines and minimalist design. If I could live anywhere, it would be in a small apartment overlooking the sea in a small village in southern Italy.

My greatest strength is listening carefully to clients’ wants and needs in a home, and then working hard to help them find the perfect fit, regardless of the type of property or location.

I love everything about real estate, but I especially love working with buyers and sellers. I want my clients to know that they have an advocate in their corner paying attention to every detail, from the first phone call to closing. Whether it’s your first home purchase or you are empty-nesters ready to downsize, I pride myself in ensuring that each client has a smooth and successful real estate transaction.
